Dr Basil Almahdi is a prestigious pain management specialist in London. He is an expert in treating conditions like sciatica, back pain, chronic pain, bone metastases, neck pain and neuropathic pain.
He has over 15 years of experience and has been a consultant in anaesthesia and pain medicine at both Whittington Health and The Wellington Hospital since 2012, as well as at Highgate Private Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital since 2014 and 2019, respectively.
Dr Almahdi gained his medical degree in 1997, then went on to train in anaesthesia, pain medicine and intensive care at the Royal College of Anaesthesia. He completed a pain fellowship at University College Hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
Since 2012, he has been imparting his vast knowledge to students at University College London, through his role as an undergraduate tutor for anaesthesia.
