About
One part of the training will focus on the Transpedicular Basivertebral Nerve Ablation procedure, from diagnostic examinations (diagnostic injections for medial branch blocks) to the BVN ablation procedure itself.
Practical applications of the distinctive 7StarScope device are the focus of the second part of the training. This device is a unique combination of ultrasound and a needle-sized endoscope.
During the course of the workshop, procedures from everyday clinical practice will be trained. These include diagnostic injections for facet joint pain, radicular pain, SI joint injections, Racz procedure, epidural injections, intra-articular injections (knee, shoulder, elbow), as well as advanced interventional procedures, such as spinal and peripheral nerve stimulation. The programme is designed to equip participants with an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
Highly individual training approach in two-hour blocks includes lectures, interactive sessions and hands-on experience practical training. Max 4 participants per group.
Course director / Faculty
The faculty includes experts in interventional techniques.
Robert Rapcan, MD, FIPP, MBA, PhD, the founder of the Interventional Pain Academy will lead the international faculty.
